Meet our team
Jonathan Farrar
Founder, Building Biologist & CRMI
Jonathan Farrar is a Certified Residential Mold Inspector and Building Biologist who helps families create healthier, lower-toxin homes. As the founder of JF Healthy Homes, he specializes in in-depth assessments of mold, moisture, EMF/EMR, indoor air quality, and water quality, with a focus on practical, step-by-step solutions rather than fear or overwhelm.
Jonathan studied Business and English at Loyola Marymount University, a background that helps him blend clear communication with strong systems, detailed reporting, and client education. He spends hours onsite in each home, tracing moisture pathways, investigating building defects, and translating complex data into straightforward recommendations that fit each family’s health goals and budget.
Known for his calm, advocacy-based approach, Jonathan works closely with homeowners, builders, and remediation professionals to guide projects from “something’s wrong” to “we have a plan.” His mission is simple: help people live better indoors.
Marty Farrar
Co-Founder & Operations Manager, JF Healthy Homes
Marty studied Taxation at the University of California, Riverside and spent four years in accounting and tax preparation before moving into commercial finance, where she worked as a Documentation Administrator in the Los Angeles area. In that role, she supported complex equipment finance transactions—reviewing and drafting contracts, coordinating funding packages, tracking compliance requirements, and serving as a key liaison between clients, lenders, and vendors. She now brings that expertise in contracts, risk awareness, numbers, and systems to JF Healthy Homes as Operations Manager, overseeing scheduling, proposals, invoicing, and day-to-day logistics so clients always know their next step. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Marty is the warm, detail-focused point of contact guiding families through their healthy home journey.

Aaron Carrico
Healthy Home Assessment Technician, JF Healthy Homes
Aaron holds a degree in Exercise Science from Murray State University and brings over a decade of experience as a Certified Personal Trainer and Health Coach, and 6 years as a licensed Massage Therapist. In addition, Aaron has served for 15 years in management within the health-wellness technology sector, further strengthening his expertise in human performance, behavioral change, and long-term wellness strategies.
His career has given him a deep understanding of how the body functions, adapts, and heals through targeted lifestyle interventions including nutrition, movement, and therapeutic bodywork. After being diagnosed with Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) in 2018, Aaron shifted his focus toward the connection between environmental and human health. This led to extensive study in home health, indoor air quality, and environmental toxin exposure as part of his own recovery journey.
Combining his background in human wellness with growing expertise in building biology, Aaron now applies a holistic, science-based approach to home inspections. He understands how indoor environments—including air quality, moisture, and microbial contamination—can impact health and is dedicated to helping individuals create living spaces that reduce stressors, support healing, and promote long-term well-being.
