Jonathan founded JF Healthy Homes to help families understand what's happening inside their homes and what to do about it. He leads in depth assessments of mold and moisture, indoor air quality, EMF, water, and lighting, evaluating homes against the Building Biology Standard SBM-2024.
Onsite, Jonathan spends hours tracing moisture pathways, investigating building defects, and measuring the indoor environment room by room. He then translates complex data into clear, prioritized recommendations that fit each family's goals and budget. His Business and English studies at Loyola Marymount University show up in his detailed reports and plain language explanations.
Known for his calm, practical approach, Jonathan works alongside homeowners, builders, remediation contractors, and functional medicine practitioners to move projects from "something's wrong" to "we have a plan." He personally trains every assessor on the team and reviews all findings.
His mission is simple: help people live better indoors.
Marty Farrar
Co-Founder | Operations Manager
Marty co-founded JF Healthy Homes and oversees the operations that keep every project running smoothly, from scheduling and proposals to invoicing and day to day logistics, so clients always know their next step.
Before JF Healthy Homes, Marty studied Taxation at the University of California, Riverside and spent four years in accounting and tax preparation. She then moved into commercial finance as a Documentation Administrator in the Los Angeles area, where she reviewed and drafted contracts, coordinated funding packages for complex equipment finance transactions, tracked compliance requirements, and served as a key liaison between clients, lenders, and vendors.
Today she brings that same expertise in contracts, numbers, and systems to every client relationship. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Marty is a warm, detail focused point of contact who guides families through each stage of their healthy home journey.
Alex Nolasco
Client Services
Alex is often the first person clients talk to at JF Healthy Homes. She answers questions, helps families choose the right service, and keeps communication clear and timely from the first inquiry through the final report.
Alex brings more than a decade of experience supporting senior executives and running office operations in corporate, legal, and real estate settings. In real estate transaction management, she helped guide more than 150 successful closings, keeping complex timelines, documents, and people on track.
Bilingual, organized, and known for her proactive, client first approach, Alex makes sure every family feels supported and knows exactly what to expect next.
Aaron Carrico
Senior Healthy Home Consultant
Aaron turns the data from each assessment into the clear, organized reports our clients rely on, then walks clients through their findings and next steps. He works closely with Jonathan to make sure every report is thorough, accurate, and easy to follow.
Aaron holds a degree in Exercise Science from Murray State University and brings more than a decade of experience as a Certified Personal Trainer and Health Coach, six years as a licensed Massage Therapist, and 15 years in management in the health and wellness technology field.
After being diagnosed with Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) in 2018, Aaron turned his attention to the connection between indoor environments and wellbeing. That experience led to in depth study of indoor air quality, moisture, and environmental exposures, and to his work in building biology. He understands firsthand what families are navigating, and he brings that care to every report and conversation.
Alfred Martinez
Healthy Home Specialist
Alfred performs healthy home assessments for JF Healthy Homes clients, investigating moisture and building conditions, taking measurements, and collecting samples for laboratory analysis. Trained by Jonathan, he follows the same thorough process on every visit, and Jonathan reviews all findings.
Alongside his work with JF Healthy Homes, Alfred serves as a firefighter. That experience has given him a calm, focused presence in demanding situations and a deep commitment to protecting and serving others.
Alfred brings a practical, people first approach to every home he visits. He is continually building his expertise in building biology and healthy home principles, and he is proud to be part of a team dedicated to helping families live better indoors.
