Frequently Asked Questions
🏠 General
-
A Healthy Home Assessment is a detailed, science-based evaluation of your home’s indoor environment. Jonathan looks at potential sources of mold, EMF, moisture, and other indoor pollutants that can impact your health and comfort.
-
Most assessments take between 6–8 hours depending on the size and complexity of your home. Jonathan takes time to explain findings and answer questions along the way.
-
Every client receives a summary-style report outlining findings, key areas of concern, and prioritized recommendations. For clients needing documentation for contractors, landlords, or insurance, a detailed report is also available.
🌬️ Mold & Moisture
-
Both! Jonathan performs a full visual and moisture inspection and collects targeted samples for lab analysis when necessary. Results typically return within 1–2 business days.
-
We don’t perform remediation directly — our role is to provide an unbiased, scientific assessment. However, we can guide you or your contractor on next steps for safe and effective cleanup.
-
When performed correctly, mold testing provides reliable data on the type and concentration of mold present. Combining this with a building-science approach helps ensure nothing is missed.
📶 EMF Testing
-
We test for radiofrequency (RF), electric fields, magnetic fields, and dirty electricity — giving you a clear understanding of exposure levels throughout your home.
-
Yes — your report includes custom recommendations for reducing exposure, plus referrals for shielding or electrician work if needed.
-
Research suggests EMFs can impact sleep, energy, focus, and nervous system function in sensitive individuals. Our goal isn’t fear — it’s awareness and practical solutions for a healthier home.
🔍 Booking & Process
